The Piston Steve Harrison is the current vice-captain of the second XI and has performed with some distinction over the past couple of seasons. In his early days, Hazza batted at number 4, playing some cricket shots that strained the Latissimus Dorsi muscies to the edge of their functional abilities. However, following chiropractic surgery, Hazza has switched to an open batsman which has resulted in an incredible transformation from aggressive, Chris Gayle shots to a more dogged Chris Tavare style. However on his day, Hazza can mix with the best of them; that is, he can usually be found stood next to his batting partner in the middle of the wicket after a volley of "Yessss, Nooo" calls. To the detriment to the club, Hazza's list of run out victims reads like a compendium of Fairburn players from 1921 to the present day, but we love him!
