Introduction

Welcome to the home page of Operation Hoodie CC, the newly formed cricket team which raises money for Cancer Research UK. In 2009 Operation Hoodie arrived with a bang, making it all the way to the Tetley Super 12s 20/20 Finals Day, before being pipped by eventual winners, East Bierley CC. Later that season, Operation Hoodie were proud to be invited to Anthony McGrath's 2009 Benefit 20/20 day, where Operation Hoodie CC upset the massive local support, to beat East Bierley, to have the nonour of playing a full strength Yorkshire CCC side. Not overawed, Operation Hoodie put in a creditable performance :
