Ian joined the club some years ago now from local side Ferrybridge and has played mainly in the first XI. A cat like gully fielder, he makes stretch armstrong look like he has arthritis. Ian is a hard hitting, unorthodox lower order batsman, this being a polite way of saying slogger. Within the club, Ian is most known for getting fined every week for having dirty whites. Ian makes telling contributions down the order and despite looking a little ungainly he smites the ball to all parts. He also seems to be able to fit himself and his bag into the tighest of spots, if there is a chance that he can have a lift for an away game.
